Skin tightening treatments

Skin tightening treatment is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure designed to improve the appearance of laxity or loose skin. This type of treatment typically uses heat or energy-based technology to stimulate collagen production in the skin, which helps to firm and tighten the skin over time. There are several different types of skin tightening treatments available. Some popular options include Morpheus8 and Fotona laser SP Dynamis.

Morpheus8

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive procedure that combines microneedling with radiofrequency to stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin. This industry-leading technology is highly talked about in beauty and lifestyle magazines, like Glamour, because of its impressive skin-tightening results.

Morpheus8 can remodel the skin by creating controlled micro-injuries and delivering radiofrequency through these channels to directly target layers of our skin responsible for collagen production.  Treatment results will keep improving along with the skin’s continuous collagen production, boosted by the combinations of microneedling and radiofrequency (RF).

Within a week after the treatment, the skin will look brighter and more radiant. After a few months, you will notice a visible improvement in texture, overall skin tone, and tightening. Although you will see some results on your first treatment, for best results, we recommend starting with at least three treatments spaced one month apart.

Fotona SP Dynamis

The Fotona laser is a versatile treatment that can tighten skin and improves the skin’s texture, tone, and overall complexion. The laser is used to target and heat the desired areas, triggering the body's natural healing response and stimulating collagen production in the process.

Similar to Morpheus8, the skin will look brighter and more radiant a week after the Fotona laser treatment. A series of treatments are recommended for the best results, typically spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

With these procedures, we motivate the skin to regenerate itself. The skin restores its elastin and collagen - the building blocks of youthful skin, as it tightens lax and textured skin. This process takes time, that’s why the results show gradual and are always natural looking.

Now that we have talked about the basics of skin tightening treatments, we also want to discuss another popular skin lifting treatment - Soft Lift.

New call-to-action

Soft Lift

A “Soft Lift” treatment is a set of non-surgical treatments that combine neuromodulators (such as Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin) with dermal fillers (such as Juvederm or Restylane). The goal of these treatments is to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines while also adding volume to the face or addressing any asymmetries.

The repetition of motion on our face creates the wrinkles you see on your forehead, in between the brows (elevens), and around the eyes (crow’s feet) over time. Neuromodulators, a.k.a wrinkle relaxers, are used to relax these muscle movements to prevent wrinkles from forming. This treatment can be started even before turning 30 to pre-rejuvenate or prevent the formation of wrinkles.

On the other hand, dermal fillers are used congruently with neuromodulators to decrease the appearance of fine lines on areas such as the marionette lines and nasolabial folds. It also adds volume to areas such as the temples, cheeks, lips, tear troughs, and chin to look rejuvenated and address any asymmetry.

Dermal fillers, a.k.a “liquid facelift,” are made up of hyaluronic acid- a molecule found naturally in our bodies. This molecule is responsible for retaining moisture and hydration in the skin, hence, giving volume to our skin.

Each Soft Lift treatment is unique to every patient. Our expert injectors have years of experience performing Soft Lift treatments. Each injector is highly skilled in human anatomy, so they can safely inject neuromodulators and dermal fillers. Just as patient safety is our number one priority, it’s also important that our professional injectors carry an artistic eye to create a naturally rejuvenated look- making you look good and feel good.

Neuromodulators have no downtime. However, its results will show within two weeks after the treatment as your muscles will need time to relax. Results are immediate with dermal fillers; however, bruising and swelling may occur a day after the treatment. Your injector will give you aftercare guidelines following the treatment to minimize bruising and swelling. Soft Lift results may last up to 12 months, but neuromodulators will need a touch-up every 3 to 4 months.
